Management
Responsible for accounting and reporting,
payroll, and budget preparation for offices of the Executive
Office of the President (EOP).
As the first Director of Financial
Management, I was responsible for: organizing, staffing and
training the financial management office staff; installing
accounting software; and implementing document control and filing
systems.
Realized $400,000 cost reduction EOP
financial management by consolidating of six accounting systems
and five payroll systems to one.
The White House Office
1977 to 1978

Position Held: Deputy Assistant to the
President for Budget and Organization
Responsibilities included providing office
management support to White House (WHO) offices; assisting in WHO
budget preparation and presentation; serving on the EOP
reorganization team, providing analysis of the WHO financial
management operations.
Reviewed the accounting and payroll systems
used by the various offices of the EOP.
Prepared requirements document for
consolidated EOP accounting software.
Led selection team for the procurement of
accounting software for the soon to be created Office of
Administration.
As a principal in the creation of the Office
of Administration, I participated in the drafting of the budget
authorization and managed the authorization process.
Organized the consolidation of EOP
accounting and payroll operations including staffing and systems
conversion.
