Course Introduction | Many current program managers do not realize that they are also financial managers. Many current financial managers do not understand the types of information and support needed by other program managers to assist them in most effectively and efficiently delivering their programs to the American people. This course is meant to assist both groups in accomplishing their objective of delivering the most value at the least cost to the beneficiaries of their programs. Learning Objectives | This course is presented to provide senior program and financial managers with a better understanding of financial policies and tools available to them, how the policies evolved, how the policies and tools may impact their operations, and how they might be used to deliver added value to their programs for the benefit of the citizens of the United States, whom they serve. Specific objectives include: 1. Identifying global, national and other factors which will change the role of federal executives in the future 2.
